Location of the Property:
Cucugnan is a small living village of c. 150 people in the Aude department in Languedoc Roussillon. Only 30 minutes from the nearest airport and on a choice of Mediterranean beaches within one hour; yet located in the sheltered and rugged Corbiere hills. It has quick easy access to the Pyrenees where there is fantastic walking and hiking. In the Pays Cathare of the Aude department the High Corbieres is a territory which has kept its authenticity where you can still get away from it all.

One valley over and you are in the Conflent Valley with its Mount Canigou, the sacred mountain of the Catalans. Right in the heart of Catalan country, Cucugnan is at the foot of the castles of Queribus and Peyrepetouse – neighbours themselves to the impressive Gorge de Galamus.
